Essencylon Tours Terms & Conditions

These terms govern all bookings made through essencylon.com for tours, transfers, and experiences in Sri Lanka. By booking, you accept these terms fully.

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

A 30% deposit is requested to confirm your dates
All prices quoted in USD
Payment is arranged directly with us by email or WhatsApp. Nothing is charged on this website.
Your booking is confirmed by email once the deposit has been received.

2. Cancellation Policy

30 days or more before the tour date: full refund, including the deposit
14 to 29 days before: full refund of everything paid, less the 30% deposit
7 to 13 days before: 50% refund of the total tour price
Less than 7 days before: no refund (credit for a future booking)
No-show or late arrival: no refund
Tour cancelled by Essencylon, including for weather or safety: full refund or a free reschedule, whichever you prefer

3. Changes & Amendments

Minor changes to itinerary (vehicle, restaurant, timing) at no extra cost if equivalent quality.
Essencylon Tours reserves right to modify itinerary due to weather, road closures, or safety.

4. Inclusions/ Exclusions

As per itinerary

5. Participant Requirements

Follow all guide safety instructions at all times
No refund for voluntary opt-out during tour
Participants responsible for own belongings and valuables

6. Force Majeure

Essencylon Tours is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to:

Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes)
Government restrictions or curfews
Strikes, protests, or civil unrest
Pandemics or health emergencies
Airport delays or flight cancellations

Full credit or rescheduling offered for tours cancelled by Essencylon due to these events.

7. Complaints Procedure

Notify tour guide/driver immediately during the tour for on-site resolution.
Send written complaint to info@essencylon.com within 24 hours after tour completion.
Include photos, tour date, guide name, and specific details.
Essencylon Tours will respond within 14 days with resolution proposal.
Final resolution under Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority mediation if required.

8.Governing Law

These terms governed by Sri Lankan law.
Disputes resolved in Colombo District Court jurisdiction.
Essencylon Tours reserves right to update terms (notification via email).
