Most people give Colombo one day between the airport and somewhere else, and see it through a car window. This is the version where you stop, get out, and have the reason for each place explained to you. Tuk tuk if you want the city loud and open, a car if you would rather have the air conditioning.

Where you go

The usual shape of the afternoon, agreed with you before you set off. Nothing here is compulsory, and if one place interests you more than the rest, we stay there longer.

The price follows the vehicle you choose, and then adds $20 for each person after the first.

Getting to the start

Pickup anywhere in Colombo is included. Coming from outside the city, we can still collect you — that leg is quoted separately, so ask and we will tell you the number before you commit.

Add the food walk for $10

The same afternoon, then Pettah market on foot — kottu, hoppers, short eats, a king coconut cut open while you wait. The combined tour is $90 for one person by tuk tuk against $80 for the city alone, and runs 4–5 hours.
